My journey to becoming a therapist began after returning home from a combat deployment, navigating the pain of a devastating divorce, and wrestling with years of readjustment challenges. These deeply personal experiences opened my eyes to the hurt and brokenness we all carry—and also to the strength it takes to heal. Because of that, I feel a deep calling to walk alongside others as they move through pain toward healing, growth, and renewal.
I’m especially passionate about helping couples reconnect and navigate the often messy, painful moments that can either divide us or deepen our bond. I also work with individuals to process trauma, manage anxiety or depression, regulate anger, and rediscover their sense of worth. You don’t have to face it alone—there is hope.
In my practice, I take a compassionate, client-led approach to counseling. I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma and other life barriers, and draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Attachment Theory when working with couples and families.
Faith and spirituality often play a powerful role in how we make sense of pain, purpose, and healing. For many clients, it's an area where they’ve felt lost, misunderstood, or never had real guidance. As a Christian, I’m able to integrate a faith-based perspective when requested—but I never push beliefs. Instead, I help clients explore where they need support, what kind of spiritual or personal framework speaks to them, and how they want to grow. Whether you're seeking healing within a specific faith tradition or simply want to explore your values and identity, I offer a respectful space where your journey is led by you.
We all face dark seasons—but I know, through both personal experience and years of walking with others, that light is possible. The first step can feel like the hardest. When you’re ready, I’d be honored to walk with you.
