Bess Roberts, MSW, LCSW
As a Licensed Clinical Social worker, I help individuals move towards the emotional health, balance and sense of self they have been looking for. I work with adults navigating many of life’s challenges including anxiety, depression, divorce, co-parenting, difficult family dynamics, chronic stress and PTSD. I have a particular interest in helping people gain clarity about their relationships—whether romantic, family, or work-related. Together, we explore whether a relationship has the capacity to move toward a healthier place and what changes would be needed for that to happen. I also support individuals in understanding and changing patterns or behaviors that no longer feel aligned such as people-pleasing, perfectionism, self-doubt or difficulty setting boundaries.
Whether you feel mildly stuck or significantly overwhelmed, therapy can provide support, clarity, and meaningful change.
I partner with my clients and support their healing using a paced, trauma-informed approach that prioritizes emotional safety and respects your nervous system. Together, we focus on understanding long-standing patterns, strengthening emotional regulation, and building greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and connection to your authentic self.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and depth-oriented. I pull from multiple evidenced based practices to meet your individual needs and goals. I work best with clients who are ready for meaningful, lasting change and who value a thoughtful therapeutic process.
