Jay White

Jay White is a licensed clinical social worker, practicing in four states. He began this work in the US Army when he was deployed twice to Iraq (2003 and 2005-06). Jay then worked for 20 years in the VA Healthcare system, both in Connecticut and Wisconsin. His time in the VA was highlighted by being named a member of the National VA PTSD committee and by managing a program for serving veterans who had served after September 11. He began his private practice in July 2024. 

Originally from New England, he has three children and resides in Madison. In 2021, Jay published “Earth to Brockton,” a collection of short stories which he chose to publish and share during the COVID pandemic, in an effort to provide his family and friends with some entertainment. 

Jay is a giant Boston sports fan. He also umpires local baseball games and has enjoyed dabbling in stand-up comedy at area open mics.
